Been drinking Pabst since day 1… back when a 12-pk was 3.49 and Pabst Ice came in riveted cans. A Pabst 40 would be 1.50 or less… High Life 32′s always a dollar or less and you could get a case of Shlitz Malt Liquor 32′s for under a buck each. Now you get a Pabst can at a bar for 5 bucks and a 12-pk for almost 10.

I dont know if you heard about it.. But they raised the price of this beer, because it started to become popular by all the hipsters buying it for the trend..

it’s a recent thing that PBR started to make more money than the other brands… good marketing they say? back in the grindcore daze it was one of the beers you could get a 12pk for under 5 bucks…talkin early 90s era. never had the pleasure of trying simpler times… mostly drank pabst, old mills, lucky lagers, blatz, schmidts, falstaff, milwaukee 1851 and lots of 40s.
